The candidate journey for all Early year’s staff with CLASS Recruitment typically involves several stages, from initial application, online interview, registration to potentially being hired for an early years position.
Here's a general outline of what the journey might look like to you:
Stage 1: The Application:
We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds in childcare and early years education – we look for at least 3 months of referenceable childcare experience within the last 5 years.
Stage 2: Interview Process:
Once we have screened your CV and checked out your suitable experience, we will then give you a call to discuss your availability for an online interview! During the interview, we will discuss topics such as your qualifications, experience, as well as provide you with further information about what to expect when working with us at Class Recruitment.
Stage 3: Reference Checks & Background Checks:
After a successful interview, CLASS Recruitment will then contact your / the candidate's references to gather additional insights into the candidate’s character and work ethic.
CLASS Recruitment also carry out other background checks such as an Enhanced DBS background check, Right to Work checks and checks to ensure all other information is up to date and you are clear on the policies linked to early years settings.
Stage 4: Offer Stage: Temporary, Contract or Permanent Positions:
Once CLASS Recruitment have completed all checks and you have completed all relevant paperwork, we can then move on to the most fun part of the process – which is placing you into work at the nurseries!
If it is a permanent position you have gone for then we will share all the details with you about your new role such as salary, benefits, and other terms of employment. Class Recruitment will support you in arranging an interview with the nursery which may involve a play session which allows you meet the team and decide if this is the right setting for you.
