"It's wonderful to work for Bristol's best Early Years recruiters"

Class Recruitment is delighted to have gained amazing feedback from our latest team member, who this week said, "It's wonderful to work for Bristol's best Early Years recruiters".

Joanne Staynings joined our Clifton-based Early Years recruitment agency in February and has made a fantastic addition in her role as Recruitment Administrator.

We took the opportunity to speak to Jo in greater detail about the job so far, and why she thinks we are Bristol's best Early Years recruiters.

How did you hear of Class Recruitment?

"Karen got me my first Early Years job in Bristol when I first qualified 14 years ago. Since then, I've worked my way up from a Practitioner position to being the Deputy Manager of a Bristol nursery setting for many years."

What made you apply for a job working directly for Class?

"The Recruitment Administrator role is office-based, and I've been office-based in my management role for a long time now. I have occasionally helped to provide cover in the nursery, but my daily remit centres upon admin."

Have you always worked in Bristol Early Years nurseries?

"I have been lucky enough to have spent a long, consistent period in one Bristol nursery setting, although I do also have experience of working as a Nanny in the city too."

What are your main responsibilities at Class?

"I help with the recruitment of nursery staff, interviewing candidates, general admin such as Payroll, Compliance checks, including DBS and Right to Work."

What expertise do you bring to the role?

"Having worked in Bristol as an Early Years professional, I know what makes for a good nursery candidate as well as what settings are looking for and how they operate daily. I've gained so much sector experience."

What development is available in the role?

"I'll be undertaking continuous development, as well as supporting Karen."

How is it going so far at Class?

"I already know Karen and the team well, and have a long-standing working relationship with them. It's wonderful to work for Bristol's best early Years recruiters."

If you're an Early Years candidate wondering where to start when it comes to working with a recruitment consultancy, check this out.
